A Christian classic anthem with writer, Rick Shorter’s favorite theme, John 3:16, “For God So Loved the World.” Our company, Sister Shorter’s Healthier Health Foods, produced multiple and multiple thousands of pieces of packaged health food products for New York City and the Northeast USA for over a period of 30 years. Every food product carried his favorite text, John 3:16! The first Christian song written by Rick after ten years as a Christian, called “The End” included this famous Bible text and theme. And several other songs included the theme or the text as well, “Newborn,”   “You Could Try Jesus,”  ” I Had A Conversation With A Man” — which, Rick admitted years later, was his testimony in song.

When this famous choir came to Central Filipino SDA Church in Los Angeles, from Adventist University in the Philippines to sing, Rick was so impressed with the quality of music and talent, he arranged with the director to finish this song he had just completed with our arranger, Raul Ferrando.
