Horseradish, a member of the Mustard family, makes the well-known spicy, pungent condiment. Medicinally however, the root is a centuries-old traditional diuretic aid and is used in various preparations for urinary tract health.

Horseradish has been cultivated since ancient times and factored in the traditional healing systems of early Europe and North American aboriginal medicine.

Common use:
Culinary spice; increase flow of urine and stimulate kidney and bladder activity (diuretic); respiratory congestion.
